Got hit with a $131 bank fee as "International Transaction Fee". Poo.

I'm going to try and fight it. Didn't see that coming.

Never in my life seen this type of fee, seems it's an Oz specialty.

Yes, AUD, not the end of the world, just unexpected and it's out of my pocket.

Had I known that was coming could've planned for it by spreading it out across orders. 22 orders could've added $6 to each order.

Oh well, I know for next time, if there is another

Seems odd as there should be no conversion (and no fee) as all funds were made in AUD by PP... Sounds as if bank is ripping you off.

Divide by 22 and add another buck for us to cover the service charge on these makeup payments if it cannot be straightened out.

Pretty sure 21 out of 22 of us will pony up.

I wonder if zillow or venmo works the same the same? Is there a Paypal or zillow or venmo bank? I think venmo is PayPal?

I did not use PayPal. I only use PayPal to receipt money. I paid with a debit card as I have no credit card. It's in a foreign currency. The fee is exactly 3%.
