I just bought a pair of E7-120s for tech diving (from double AL80s). Of course they are incredibly expensive compared to the 80s, but they hold 1.5 times the gas and they are barely bigger than the 80s. Further, I can get rid of a great deal of lead. My 80s were -4lbs negative when full while my steels are -21lbs. So basically no more lead for me! If you have more than one steel, they say you should have redundant bouyancy in case of a BC/Wing failure (dual bladder wing or drysuit). Shouldn't be an issue with just one steel.
