I have the GoPro HD...The flat lens is a MUST!!! I have no real major complaints once I got an after market housing with the flat lens.

From what I am reading, GoPro is releasing a new housing this Spring that has a flat lense so I'm planning on waiting for that. Thank you for the feedback.

I just purchased the GoPro Hero 2 + BlurFix Lens.

I posted a video if you're interested in the quality. This is was my first time ever using the camera so I still need to play with viewing angle/position but I thought the quality came out great. Not really much to see in the video under water except me picking up scallops. I didnt have the camera angled downward so part of the video is cut off when i'm picking up scallops

Scallop Diving with Boston Scuba (February 20th, 2012) - YouTube

That's good quality!

There's something about scalloping, even watching a video of someone else scalloping gets my blood pumping. Were you able to fill the bag both dives?

We just did the one scallop dive and everyone got a full bag. I could have actually filled up two on the first dive but still have other ziplock bags with scallops in my freezer. We decided to do something difference and did a bottle dive in the inner harbor to looking for old bottles. I didn't post any video of that because it was really murky but a few people found some really nice old bottles. All I found were Budweiser bottles :-(

Nice.
My scallop reserves are dwindling, I gotta get back out there for a boat dive. Boston Harbor looks like some productive grounds.
Bottle diving is something I've wanted to do for a while, but it's hard finding people who want to dive the Piscataqua River.
Keep the videos coming.

Never dove in the
Piscataqua River but I would love to try it. I imagine it's all drift diving. If you ever want a dive buddy. let me know. I'd love to try bottle diving up there if you know any dive sites.
