Greetings folks,

Just want to see if anyone here has tried out the new Aeris Accel fins yet. Any reviews or use experience would be appreciated!

Tks! :)

Scubadiving magazine just did a review on them that was very positive. Mine are suppose to arrive today. I'm going to take them for a spin later this week and will report back.
Cheers
Jon

Awesome! Tks in advance, Jon!

I've read the raving magazine review already. But I figured that I have more faith and trust in the unbiased and balanced reviews from the folks here on the board.

Looking forward to your input.

Happy and Safe diving.

Just tried them in pool and really liked, however they sent me GREY when I wanted Black, which is out of stock already. Little big for me also. Got a really good deal, can't get it again if sent back. As a result, for anyone in the central Virginia area, I will sell these brand new fins, tried for 2-3 minutes in pool for $65 they are Aeris Accel Open heel fins, Grey size Regular. Would fit perfect with neoprene socks, but don't like wearing anything. If you give Mailing address, can check how much to ship.

Jeff, tks for sharing!

Just got a chance to use these fins in Key Largo and have to say I really like them. The Scubadiving magazine review is spot on. These fins are suprisingly small yet suprisingly powerful. They are about the same size as my APS Mantarays (now Hollis F2) and will fit in carry on size luggage. I like the simple design, no hinges or power bands. Simple heel straps are very comfortable. They paddle like a larger fin ie slower cadence as compared to FF Pros or APS Mantarays. I had no trouble keeping up with my dive buddy who was using Scubapro Jet Sport full foot fins which are a very fast fin.
One issue I had was the foot pocket is deeper and narrower than I'm use to. It would not fit hard soled 5mm boots, but medium soled boots fit very nicely. Just something to consider if you use hard soled boots. As a bonus these fins are very reasonbly priced. It's refreshing that Aeris did not jack the price up like other fins.

Cheers

Jon,

Tks for the review! Sounds like a great pair of fins. I've actually ordered my already and can't wait to test it out.

I use the 3mm med sole booties so I think it will be good fit.

I agree with you that given the price of Accel, it probably has one of the better value/performance ratio compared with other fins.

Hello Jeff,

I am interested in buying your fins, depending on where you are. I am in Ashburn, VA, and I may be interested in taking a road trip or having you mail them. I wear size 8.5 shoes. Think they would fit with some average size boots?
