I had an ******* of a neighbor back in VA. He worked 3rd shift as a tow truck driver.

One morning just before we moved he got pissed off that I was running the lawn mower at 8:00am. He came out, said I was breaking the law and threatened to kick my ass.

He didn't enjoy being pulled in front of the magistrate later that day and being told that you can start mowing your yard at 7am.

I used to live in the City. But was raised in a small town and never really got very comfortable with the noise, smell, and small postage stamp sized lawns.

So I purchased 14 acres of land 15 minutes north of the city, that borders on a provincial park, and have never looked back.

- No noise all day and night.
- Neighbors are almost 1/4 mile away.
- No one locks the doors.
- I can shoot my guns in the back yard.
- I can land a plane in my back yard. (when I'm not shooting of course)
- I know everyone within a 5 mile circle of home, and I can make all the noise I want, they don't mind cause they don't hear it. If they do hear the noise, they don't care, just like me.

Ahhhhh, the peace of being under water, while on dry land. :thumb:
