Or just follow some one out there ;) There'll be more than a few people going that way...

just hang out on the other side of the beach and wait for a group to start heading out... and ask if they don't mind if you follow them out to the fields

Jim just keep repeating that and maybe you'll make yourself believe that....

You back yet buddy?

Hey Buddy , I am leaving on Thursday the 19th and will be in Lauderdale till Aug 7th, Oh and I will have fun I hope!

Okay, so I'll be there Friday afternoon through Sunday. Anyone else interested in meeting up, pm me by tomorrow night please.

Thanks!

Not this weekend but the 28th I'll be there. Was thinking of the breakwater but was warned off by one of the shops. Said I'd enjoy a boat dive or Point Lobos or ne of the other beaches more. Had a bunch of PM regarding this but they all got lost. Any advice from Jim or Ben? Or anyone else. I'm a DM and just finished heliotrox training. Last dive was Monday. Lake Erie. 155 ft for 15 minutes w/34 minutes of deco. Bottom temp 41. Bringing dry suit so want a good dive. Not real interested in newbie stuff. I'd like to get some depth.

Depends on what you want to do....

Just get a dive in? BW for a little tune up dive and maybe the Carmel side...

If you only have 1 day to dive a boat dive would probably be the best thing...

either way spend a dive at the BW to get tuned into our local waters...

If you need anymore info just post/pm and we're more than happy to help.

Chuck Tribolet:
I'd expect a couple of degrees colder than that.

Agreed. I made an unfortunately short visit two weeks ago, and the surface temp was in the low 50s. At 30', the temp was 48 degrees.

I was very glad I brought my drysuit..........
