I've been thinking of hitting up Eric's Pinnacle in Pacific Grove, and maybe dive the amtrac and sailboat at Del Monte.

Eric's Pinnacle is almost always done from a boat (I know one guy who did it frommobeeno:
the beach). The Del Monte Amphtrack and Sailboat can be done from the beach.

Hey Chuck, thanks for the spelling correction. 
According to California Diving news, Eric's can be accessed by kayak from Lover's Point or Otter Cove. Del Monte was a fairly easy entry when I went last. Again, I'm probably gonna go to most sites via kayak.

I will drive up (from SoCal) with my bike for the MotoGP at Laguna Seca. While up there I plan to get at least one dive at the Breakwater.
