I'm looking at going to Venice beach on 1/29. Anyone interested?

I'm going out with Fl. West Sunday.
1 of these days we'll get together.

I'd like to go but I am working all weekend. Can you update us on the dive conditions and "haul"?

Thanks

I'll be glad to if I go. I need a buddy for this dive, as it'll only be the second in my drysuit.

Anyone? I'll be checking this thread through tomorrow morning.

The conditions at Venice today with Fl. West were;
Water temp 63
Vis 4'-5'+
Some nice teeth were found today.
Will post a pic of my haul after they are done soaking

Buddy, schmuddy.. you are only going 20 feet down (and that's in the mud, right?). You can't really hurt yourself from that depth. :D It will challenge you for bouyancy control at that depth, especially with any surge...

But I know that you will enjoy it!

Nah, I passed. This is an entirely new kit, not just drysuit, but regs (different hose routings, too), and back inflate bc instead of jacket. I need a few dives with a buddy at least before I will consider going out alone, even to VB.

I was visiting only in Venice this weekend, no diving. But I did stop by Florida West and was told that they chartered on Saturday for the first time. And good news, the water will only get warmer now. Looking forward to my next shark's tooth dive in May (when the water is back in the mid 70's.)

Here's my results from Sunday's trip with Florida West.
