Anyone familuer or part of this?

I was exploring some local parks yesterday, and came across a card - On this card was a heading that read 'Pirate's Buried Treasure' and had 3 symbols on it.

I looked up the web address and found that is is a Treasure hunt. Wondering if anyone on here has heard of it or participating?

I haven't heard of this, but it sounds like fun. I have heard of a variation on geocacheing with a pirate theme, and I wonder if this might be similar.
