I can't tell you how jealous I am.
We go on at least 2 Blackbeard trips in any given year.
The operation is awesome if you have time you need to go into Port Lucaya.
Ask the crew to get Queenie to drive you wherever you need to go. She is a really nice lady (TAXI Driver) who is on time, HONEST, and just more a freind than a taxi driver. We have been on 10 or 12 trips so far! We have one coming up in April that I am more excited about than my Fiji trip in March!

Hi Jen,
I met the folks from Chicago back in May this year and like them and the rest of the people that have been with Blackbeards I can only say they are a great gang to be with!
If I wasn't heading for Egypt and Sudan for a couple of weeks diving I probably would have ended up at the end of the world bar in Bimini!! you'll have a great time, say hi to them all from me!
Chris

Jen,
No need to worry. I was going alone until a family emergency caused me to postpone the trip. I have been on the Blackbeard Cruises a few times and the diving is very easy. The people onboard are always very fun. You will be just fine.
The only thing I caution you about is to make double sure that you make sure that someone on the boat knows that you are in the water if you intend to dive alone. It is really easy to overlook one missing person. Just make eye contact with one of the crew before jumping in.
Sorry I won't be on this trip since I, too, was going to be alone. It would have been nice to have a dive buddy. Enjoy and get narced. Vanessa

Hi everyone. I'm from Northern California and have been diving for about 8 years. I have about 50 dives logged (almost all warm water) and love it.

I'm going on my first liveaboard "alone" and have to say, a little nervous. Traveling alone doesn't scare me but not knowing who I'm going to be on a boat with in tight quarters for a week does a little. Anyone else out there going on the Blackbeards cruises Dec 27th - Jan 2?
I went on bb last april it was a blast-i stayed at grannies day before and after 80 bucks a night terry drives you and picks you up boat is great 3-4 dives a day beds in main cabin are doubles lots of room shark dive is awsome
