I will be at windy point this afternoon for a short dive, just doing a quick equipment check before I go on a trip. I don't have a dry suit and at 55 to 60 water temp I don't think I can last long.

I just got back from the lake 78 surface, both computers said water was 59 and the vis was maybe 4 or 5 feet with a silty layer at about 25 to 30. I saw three groups of divers and as I was leaving a solo diver was coming in. I don't have a hood or gloves so I made a quick 15 min equipment check and got out (my hands and ears were COLD) but actually if I had had the above I think I would have been OK for 30-40 minutes.

Water is warm!

If it's 59, it's come up a few degrees in the past week or so. How'd the equipment check go Paul?

I hope the equipment check went well. Next time, check with me and I can hook you up with rental hood / gloves / wetsuit / ...

Looks like this weekend was a good time for finding bodies (2 have been found, one Sunday afternoon, and one this morning I believe).
