Anyone diving December 27th or 28th?

Just wondering if anyone from the Tuscaloosa or Birmingham area would be interested in carpooling to Vortex that weekend...

I'd love to go diving, but a 4 hour drive there and back is just too much for me to do by myself (I wrecked a perfectly good car that way once!).

If anyone is interested in splitting the gas and driving duties, I'd love to tag along.

Looks like I might be driving by myself too if my buddy falls through.

I *might* be able to borrow my significant other's car, if you'd be interested in splitting gas with me...it can probably hold three divers and their recreational gear.

Whereabouts in Alabama do you live?

I'm in Summerdale. It's 2 hrs from Vortex, but still 4 hrs from Tuscaloosa to here.

LOL! Well, if I had a choice between 68 degree water with 40-50 ft visibility and a very pretty cavern, or 55 degree water with 20 ft visibility, I know which one I'd choose!

When ABWA opens back up, I'd love to go diving with you...of course, you might want to wait till spring...the water temps don't change much, but the surface interval is a lot more pleasant.
