We finally went today. Met some friends there. Firat and foremost friendly, helpful people with a facility that can't be beat for the price. We dove the Abyss first and should've just skipped it. It was a struggle to read my computer at 60' with the light on. You could see a little better at the platform at 22'. We brought about 1500 lbs up it was just to little visibilty.

Dove the covered area next and the visibilty was 6 feet ot so. Saw a ton of Hogfish and Angel fish, but you had to stay on the bottom and get real close. We went out the tunnel into the teaching area, but the vis was even worse out there. Came back with about 1000 lbs. Water was about 57. Was good to get my first cold water dive in.

Glad to hear you had fun! It is always nice to dive a new site no matter what the conditions....

I was stuck up at the crater again today doing some CCR Trimix skills. Polishing off some team procedures before some big dives later this year. Fun as the crater gets I guess.
