Yes. Any personal experience with them? I understand the reasoning behind them, but don't feel I need to work on that particular aspect of my technique.

Only from the edge of the pool. LOL. All 3 of my kids swim competitivly, year round. When my son was younger his stroke technique was terrible. The fist gloves made him use his arms for propulsion. Instead of using his hands. It took some getting used to, but it helped him learn the most effective way to swim & he dropped his times.
