Anybody diving Springs on 5/3?

Hi,
I'm looking for dive buddies to dive some springs on Saturday 5/3. I'm visiting the Tampa area 5/2-5/5. Thanks to your Scubaboard suggestions, I'll be visting FLAQ Friday morning then looking to do some dives on Saturday. I booked a manatee snorkeling trip with Birds on Sunday. I hope to stay in Tampa on Thursday Pm and maybe the Crystal River area the rest of the time. I fly out Monday around noon.

If somebody could also give me referrals to a LDS so I can rent tanks and weights for the dives, that would be great as well.

I hope to put a face to the names on Scubaboard.

beepbird, have you found anybody to dive with yet?

There are alot of LDS to chose from depending where you are staying. If in Tampa near the USF in Northeast Tampa, I use Scuba Haven. Tell us what area of town you are in and we can give you some suggestions.

Hi Buggenu2,
I dove FLAQ this morning (reciprocity for AAUS at Long Beach AOP) and drove to Devil's Den this afternoon. Found 2 nice divers from Tampa to dive with.

I plan on driving to Ginnie Springs tomorrow morning to do a few dives. I'm staying in Crystal River.

It looks like I will be heading to Ginnie Sunday Morning.

I dove Ginnie today with a group from North Carolina. It was great group from the DOD (dive or die) dive shop. Great drift diving!

Tomorrow I snorkel Crystal River with the Manatees!
