Any Staten Island area Divers??

Hey all. I am new to diving, just recently completed my open water course and now am patiently awating May to roll around so I can complete the 4 open water dives and finish that certification. Unfortunately, none of my friends are into diving, so I am looking for people in my area who dive to become friends with and plan dive trips together. I am also looking to join a dive club in my area. I am unable to find any. if anyone knows of any please let me know So if any of you are in my area please drop me a line! I am looking forward to this new world!

Hi Tony. Last year I started diving with the group from the Dive NY forum, here on ScubaBoard. Its a fun group with all different levels of divers, from beginners to instructors. All are always welcome to join in the dives.

heh I did my certfifiaction dives @ beach 8th street far rockaway

I was only able to get one buddy to get into diving with me, but we are having a great time so far! All my others friends think im crazy "whatt your'e scuba diving in queens???"
