Hi All,

I'm a Navy helo pilot that's recently relocated out to San Diego from Pensacola, FL. I have a ton of open ocean/gulf dives from working as a DM on 6packs and a 36' Newton in Pensacola. I'm tech trained and have dives on the USS Oriskany and other sites to 150'+. I also was originally trained in Maryland, so I'm ok with cold water (unlike everyone else coming from Florida).

I'm looking to do similar work here in San Diego part time when I'm not flying - if any boat captains need an extra DM for higher volume weekend trips or a quick fill in for a regular crewmember, I would be more than happy to help out. Shoot me a PM and we can talk further.

If there are any boat divers out there that are headed to wreck alley or anywhere cool in offshore SD on a weekend soon, please PM me. I am more than happy to bring food, beer, gas money, etc. I also love to spearfish (on SCUBA). If anyone has any good sources of info on laws specific to spearing CA or a good fishing forum website for local fishermen, divers, or spearfishing, please send it my way.

Thanks a bunch y'all,

A) Do a little homework to find the boats in your area (Horizon, Marissa, Lois Ann). Then simply go meet the captains and deliver a resume. Prob better results than this method.

B) Look into getting listed with a local Sport Chalet as a DM.
