Any reason to avoid scuba.com?

scuba.com cannot fill your tanks, service your gear, teach continuing education scuba classes. You local dive shop can do these things and if you can, support them and not an online retailer.
Valid point (unrelated or not). I have purchased a ton of gear from our LDS, however, I have purchased a ton of gear online as well. Holy sh!t, I have 2 tons of gear!
 
Scuba.com is awesome. I've made many purchases through them.

For online shopping I use scuba.com, divegearexpress.com, and divers-supply.com (since they are also my LDS here in Atlanta).
 
I just wonder if someone noticed any dependence of their prices through seasons.
I bookmarked some Mares regulators at their website two weeks ago, and now they all are $100 more. They all are on sale, just discount % was reduced greatly. So I wonder if some later it will be as good again as it was two weeks ago, like maybe Labor Day sale, Black Friday etc., or I shouldn't wait for such luck. :)
