We will be going up there shortly and I am not familiar with the area )Gainesville/High Springs)
Any tips would be appreciated

Are you caving? Or just going to mostly be around Ginnie...?

Ginnie has a no pets policy..., so even during the day, they get grouchy....
Dive Outpost is very pet friendly.... but it's over in Luraville by Peacock...

Lemme ask a few folks...

Thnx no caving and we will leave the dog in the room for a little while

Well nice is a relative term in that area. The Econo Lodge in Alachua (the exit to High Springs from I75 coming from the South) will also take Dogs. This motel would be about the closest to Ginnie that accepts pets.

I have never stayed there, just driven by. The High Springs Country Inn is the "Hilton" of places to directly in town but they do not accept pets if I remember correctly.
