Any Kayak Diver here?

Hello everyone, my name is Frankie. I'm new here and new to underwater world. i just got my advanced cert, and i want to do some dive with my friend that get our cert together. We are about to get a kayak to dive "i think it is the cheapest way to dive". Just wondering anyone doing kayak dive here? Where you guys mostly go? I'm in Los Angeles County, i can go to most beach within 30-45 min. Any suggestion? and tips for kayak diving? Me and my friend also want to do a Kayak lobster dive too, do you guys think this is a good idea? thanks

I have done one kayak dive out of Crescent Beach down in Laguna Beach. It allowed us to get over to Emerald Bay which is blocked by a gated community. The dive was a club dive and they provided the kayak's and a few support people to get us into and out of the surf. Unless there is something special to see I would rather just beach dive. It is even cheaper, because you don't need a kayak.

Maybe someone closer to your location could give you some spots to go and try.
