Any idea what this is?

Seen...near the surface at San Juan today. Approximately 1/2 in size and somewhat translucent. No doubt someone will know what it is?

Looks like some kind of jelly.

I've had the displeasure of sharing my safety stop with them before...I've actually used my octo to blow them away from me because there were so many.

I love finding stuff like that when I'm floating along on a safety stop...as long as they don't try and cozy up to me, that is :-D

Not Thimble Jelly fish at all. Those are a deep purple and indeed shaped like a thimble. Stange thing, but I only know what it is not.

This was flat like a flounder. It stumped Jeremy as well.
