Any faber tank pros out there who can identify these tanks? The current owner (they were his fathers' tanks) doesn't know anything about them (or tanks in general) and won't be able to send me better pics or other info for a week.

Looks like 12L cylinders. The ones at the back looks like 12L shorts. Please don't quote me, this is purely guess work.

All the cylinders information will be on the shoulder (volume, pressure, date of birth etc)

You don't need more pics. Ask him what all the numbers are around the crown of the tanks. From the gear info in your OW class you should be able to decipher them or post the numbers here and we can do it.

It is actually the numbers I asked him to take pics of, as well as better pics of the valves (pretty sure they're either yoke or the dual ones, but can't quite be sure from the pic). I thought it would be easier for him to snap a picture than write it all down. It's a great deal no matter what size they are (he wants $250-300 for all 6) but I don't need six tanks and if they're not bigger than 80's I might have some trouble getting rid of them.

oops! Double post

The bigger ones look like lp85 and the smaller one looks exactly like my lp66. If im correct and they are not rusty inside i would grab them all without thinking as lp85 is the best all around rec tank imho

The two in the back are LP95s the other four look like lp85s or perhaps hp100s. Give the seller $300 for all 6 and then run - cause you are stealing them for that price. Even if you have to spend $50 on each for a hydro a VIP it is still steal.

Note LP95s are 8" in diameter and squatty, LP85s are 7" in diameter and of average height HP100 are 7.25" in diameter and also of average height.

Take them all for $300 and run!! Figure out what the extras are later and sell those for $200.

This is exactly what I was hoping. I'd love 95's for myself, and if the other ones are 100's I have people who would looove to take them off my hands! It was a package he was trying to sell so when he said he'd sell just the tanks and was hoping for $250-$300 for all six I just about fell over. If they're 85's I can still probably sell them at a nice profit, the complication is that I am moving in a few weeks and won't have anywhere to store them...unless my sister has room in her basement or garage....

To me the 2 cylinders on the left side look like LP120, and the 2 on the right are HP120. I see a difference in cylinder diameters between the cylinders on the left, and the cylinders on the right. The 2 back cylinders might be HP80s, or like someone else said LP66 (I never seen those tanks before). I say HP120 because faber 7.25" boots are about 5" or 6" tall.
