does anyone know any good dive shops in fla that has online ordering as i am in need henderson hood perferably as seems my is lost some wear and be leaving to fla in less than week

... is an on line retailer that has a number of stores as well. Prices are pretty good, selection decent, and the stores I've been to are big, not like your typical LDS.

Where in Florida are you headed?

heading towards the crystal river and devels den and maybe
heard a place called paradise springs not too sure yet

....one of my most favorite stores!

But I don't think they carry any of the Henderson line. I know of another place near Cassleberry called Scuba Diversions. I've been there before and the prices on average are a bit lower than most other places. A nice, friendly atmosphere as well.

The website isn't much to look at, but I'm sure you could call ahead and order something to have it picked up. I'm 100% positive they have Henderson hoods there, as I tried the Hyperstretch one on recently.

I've been to the locations you mentioned, and each has something unique to offer. Let me know if you need any more info.

I have the hyperstretch hood and I do love it. I just wish I would have gotten one size smaller. They do stretch well and are not restrictive like I found other neoprene hoods to be.

We were there less than 2 weeks ago, and the selection of hoods was pathetic. We were at three stores - Key West, Key Largo and WPB - the carry a grand total of 2 hoods. One 6mm by comp and a really cheap 3mm no name.

Great store for other stuff - but for hoods - your definitely gonna have to go elsewhere. Very suprising for a store and chain that big.

The Hyperstretch I tried on didn't have a bib attached to it. Although, it was very comfortable, and if I didn't already have the Body Glove hood I have now, it would have been a sure sale. I think the Henderson I tried on was 3mm.

As far as the selection at DD (Diver's Direct) goes, its not all that great. I also tried their hoods on and they aren't worth getting excited over. There was a few hoods back there that did look like real junk, along with a rather crappy looking pair of gloves.

I kind of think of DD as a "scuba quickie-mart". You never intend to make any BIG purchases there, but just go to pick up stuff you kinda need (i.e. - lights, boots, etc.). That's not to say they don't have some good stuff there. They do cary some nice Mares regs, amongst other things.
