Maybe they do, but I have never heard about it. I'll have to ask.

They should have a big sign by the regs: Save $200 with FREE MAINTENANCE...

Anyway, yes, I am very pleased with ScubaToys!

Here's a good deal I just picked up yesterday from Scubatoys:

Oceanic Alpha 8

It comes with the CDX5 1st stage with the enviro kit, at a great price.

Matt,
See what happens when you ask for help here.
You get it !!!!!
That is one of the reasons I come here. If you don't know something, just ask.

Glad to hear that Scubatoys took care of you.

I buy from them , I recommend them , and I hope they are around long after I quit diving.

Email ST and offer them $300 for the Zeagle Flathead VI. I bet they will sell you one at that price or real close to it and that is about as cheap as you get for a new high end reg.

Straegen,
Is that how you bought yours? I didn't think that they were a make-an-offer company.

That's damn good advice right there, and the VI is a phenomenal cold water reg. It's got a massive heatsink, full metal air barrel, and the first stage is a giant lump of brass, which also acts as a heatsink to prevent first stage freeze up. I'll be ice diving my 2 Flathead VI's tomorrow again, and I have never had anything that even resembles a freeze issue with them.

Is there anything that you need to do to the Zeagle Flathead VI to make it ready to go for cold water(around 32F), or is it good to go out of the box?

It's ready to go out of the box. Very reliable reg too, I ice dive with mine, and dive deep cold Great Lakes wrecks all summer long. Never a hiccup.

I'll second the CDX-5 from scubatoys for $144. You cannot find a better reg for the money. I have two of them, use them routinely on ice dives and cold, deep dives; water temp. <37F. Never any problems. Breathes like a champ.
By the way, I'm not sure why some people are so against LeisurePro. I really want to hear some personal experiences when such vehement comments are made against a LDS...yes, LP is an LDS just in NYC. I've purchased all of my regs I use currently from LP (including my Aqualung Glacia, fantastic reg by the way), never any problems, great service, and they warranty everything. I've bought from them in the past and will not hesitate to buy from them in the future.
Disclaimer: No, I do not work for LP.
