I was just curious if there was anyone on the board that has experience as a finanacial analyst, CFP, CLTC, or other role in providing financial services to individuals or businesses.

I'm currently interviewing with an organization and before I start on the four month long candidate selection process, I was curious to hear about what I can expect in this industry and if there are any pitfalls or issues that I need to be aware of.

Any comments about the Series 7 or Series 66?
edit: or the Series 65

Thanks,

Pete

You're young and just outta school....you'll do fine on the Series 7 and 65 or 66. I took the 63 which was a piece of cake. The Series 7 is a HUGE pain in the butt...you'll find it concentrates on things you'll never have to use or know in your career...but still is a part of the financial rep process.

Any other questions, pm me......

Also, once you start work - when and how are you expected to build your own book of business?
