Hi all - I'm going to be in Vegas for the weekend and thought I would see if there is any diving within a couple hours of there. I never really thought about it before but I thought I would ask.
Thanks, trig

Well there is Lake Mead, but being from Florida not sure if you'd enjoy diving in mucky water with not much to see, unless you want to say, "been there, done that". Better off IMO having a blast in Vegas for the weekend and leaving the dive gear at home, if you were going to be there for a few days, maybe a break from the casinos would be good, but don't expect much.

Lake Mohave is about 90 minutes from Vegas. The diving there isn't bad, but it's not LBTS. If you have a few hours to fill a void, it would be okay. Check out the Lake Mohave page on my site for some more info and photos of the bus, van, and boat in the coves.
