The easiest and nearest shore dive for you would be Sandwich Town Beach(STB). I've been going there since I was a very young lad. Good lobstering, pretty good viz, easy parking, easy entry, depth to maybe 25/30 feet at high tide. During the summer it's 10 bucks to park, but with a town beach sticker it's free. STB is probably the best SS shore dive closest to you in Onset.

If you're interested in fresh water, Hathaway Pond in Barnstable is easy parking, entry and interesting stuff u/w. Went there on May 15th for the first time and was astounded by the near 30 feet viz.
