travelem:
I don't eat a full meal even if the op provides it. I eat up to 70-80% full. However, I would like something more than cookies. There is still a lot of room between cookies and full meal like those Asian ops. Actually small ham croissants are fine with me. Fatigue will increase the chance for DCS. I don't want to dive with an empty stomach. I too will avoid an op only giving out water and fruits if I have other choices.

To each his/her own. Water between dives is plenty for me. I eat a light breakfast (coffee, juice, toast) and dive. Beer and a sandwich afterwards taste wonderful. YMMV.

Fatigue on a Coz drift dive? ;^)

Cheers,

Deep Blue usually has fruit on board to keep it light. Usually bananas, but often cantalope and / or watermelon also.

Wristshot

NOTE: for you guys, rinse out the mustache before eating watermelon. Salt is not a good mix with watermelon!

Au contraire. Where I come from (southwest Louisiana) it is quite common for folks to lightly salt watermelon.
