I teach breast cancer survivors to dive thru my foundation, Survivor Diver. I would like to put a trip together for next summer getting as many survivors together as possible. I would love to hear from enthusiastic women divers who are interested in being part of this or have any ideas to get women divers together to support survivors.

Hey survivor diver, am doing this in reverse, now recovering from bilateral mastectomy on 8/8/11 with temp implants, can't dive with these but will dive again early 2012. Have found very little on this topic, any insights? I contacted a few women I found through this site, haven't found much on breast cancer sites either. Live in Philly area but dive Key Largo a couple times a year plus Carribbean when calendars allow. Would love to get any input as I wait through the Physical Therapy (I had latissimus dorsi reconstruction so back muscles are shot).
