I just picked up those 76cf from Tip. Thanks, Tip. I need to get them Hydro'd and into the water for a buoyancy check.
Mahjong posted the buoyancy as -5.5/-0.13 w/o valve. Indian Valley approximates the valve to weigh 1.5#, so -7.0/-1.6; is that about right? Seems heavier than my Faber LP85 (-6.7/0).

These are my absolute favorite sidemount cylinders. I have LP50's, Lp72's, Lp85's, Lp95's, and al 80's . But my 75.8 cu ft ScubaPro cylinders are the default cylinders I use. Still have 2 years on the current hydro and when it comes time for a new one these are getting stripped and repainted. I want to get them painted to look like warp engines from a star ship:=)

When it's time for your new paint job, please post them! I picked up some Cold Galvanizing rattle can paint from Home Depot. After the Hydro stamping, I want to make sure those 76 steel tanks stays rust proof.

How are the buoyancy characteristics on those 76's in a sidemount? I thought LP85's were about as perfect as I could experience when diving single. Curious about the 76's in your configuration - single or double sidemount?
