Yeah, I've witnessed a tipping too when I was in high school. Get enough people, move fast, and with luck, it can be done.

If one reads the British Columbia study, they don't discount cow tipping altogether. All they state is that it takes a lot of work, or a lot of speed and coordination. Which "educated cow tippers" have always known. If it were easy, everyone would be doing it.
 
This sounds like a job for the mythbusters.
 
Yea, these things aren't exactly cheap! I'd shoot first and ask questions later if you were messing with my livelihood.
