Another HI from London!!

Well, it seems that us Brit girls are getting in on the diving thing!!

Must have somthing to do with the fact its winter over here and we want to be somewhere HOT doing something exciting!!

I have just returned from Dahab in Egypt where i went for an adventure holiday - i also did a try dive and am now hooked!!

I have booked up for the Padi Open Water Dive course and have already booked my flight back to Dahab next May!! - am i eager or am i eager?? lol

Has anyone here ever been to Dahab?? What a place!! The dive sites are out of this world (not that i have seen many) - but are truly wonderful and i cant wait to get back there and see more of the Red Sea!

I have been to the Middle East alot, but never to Dahab; I have been to Rehab, but that's another story!

And I note, somewhat belatedly, that you prefer HOT to cold water experiences. I suspect, then, that Amoeba, our GB rep, will be contacting you soon about the CAD section. We are a small, but dedicated group and part of our "culture" is taken from Will Shakespeare, whose gravesite is tended to by Amoeba. It is something we borrowed from King Henry V: "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers" (and sisters).

Yes, we are already learning about you: for example, we know that you have memory problems; you seem to have forgotten where the shift key is located!

it sounds like you'll fit in just fine. Have fun in the best place to hang out, and learn great stuff.... and let us know how you do with your course. Your new family will cheer you on, and support you in your endeavor. Before you ask,
1) the buoyancy will come with practise, and
2) there is no known cure for the addition to diving.
