After a 4 year break from diving, I am ready to get back into the water.
It is also about time I introduced myself properly.
My name is Rob and I live in a small town called Amanzimtoti on the East coast of South Africa, which is about 30 or so km South of Durban and about 20 km away from Aliwal Shoal, where I plan to do most of my diving - for starters anyway.
I also wanted to say thanks to all who contribute to ScubaBoard, as everyone has been a great help in filling me in on things that have changed in the last 4 years. Your opinions have also been a great help when it came to making decisions on which gear to purchase.
So, in the next week or so, once all my gear has arrived and I've done a refresher session or two, I'll be ready to hit the water and do some diving.
Once again, thanks to everyone. ScubaBoard is really a great information resource for any type of diver.
