I just bought a hammerhead ss backplate and plan on staying in mostly warmer waters (no drysuit for me, thanks.) However, I am considering the use of doubles from time to time as I want to start extending my bottom time.
Before the idea of doubles came up, I was all ready to go with an oxycheq 30 lbs wing. Now I am having second thoughts. It looks like dive-rite has a rec wing with 51 lb lift that can be contracted to use with a single tank or expanded to use with a double configuration.
Has anyone had any experience using this wing with singles? If I buy this primarily for singles am I making a mistake? Also, I cannot tell from the picture, but is there air-flow between the sides of the wing from the "butt" or aft end?
