Once again we will be co-hosting the Annual Rocky Mountain Greet, Meet, Dive and Eat!

When: Saturday June 5th, 2010 Meet at the Scuba Beach at 9:00am ISH.
Where: Aurora Res
Who: All are invited.. divers, non-divers, adults, teens, and children alike.

We will be joined by Shark Bait Dive club.

This will be a pot luck.

Myself and James~Regina will bring the BBQ's.

My EZ up tent was destroyed last fall due to a freak snow storm in September.. sigh.. but we will make sure we have one or two shelters.

We will work out the details on this thread. As we are doing this with Shark Bait we had to pick a date, and commit, so sorry for those that already may have plans on this weekend.

More to come shortly, but I wanted to get this posted to give folks some advanced notice.

We will also be doing something along these lines at Blue Hole for the crowd South, and anyone who likes to dive the BH from the Denver region.

Please POST if you plan on attending, and indicate what you will bring. Some ideas are STEAK, BURGERS, DOGS, CHIPS, DIP, DESERT, FRUIT, VEGGIES, DRINKS........

Ron, Did you mean the SWIM BEACH, which is on the west side by the General Store, Offices, and Concessions, or the SCUBA BEACH, which is on the North East Side near the east side of the dam?

Well, as usually happens when this is scheduled, I will be out of town. Last year's was the first one I actually made.

If it makes you feel any better, Ron, this time I won't be off diving in some exotic locale.

John, for a guy that is *retired* you sure are one busy dude! :mooner:

We will do this again in Santa Rosa sometime in the summer or fall.

I plan to attend also. Is there a committee or someone handling what to bring for the pot luck?

Also, Ron, it might be beneficial to unhide (unsticky) this thread so it appears with the rest of the threads in this forum. I totally missed it since it was "hidden" above the rest of the normal posts until Justin posted, and I got a subscription reminder.

Maybe others don't look about the normal posts also?

Umm, I hate to say it because I will draw flack, but...

My wife and I will be on a golf outing.

Golf John, with a LADY! LOL! :D

I have talked with a few folks, and while I'm not seeing much useful posting, the event is already numbering in the double digits! :eyebrow:

It would be helpful if folks would post what they are planning on bringing, but I'm sure one way or another we will be there... with dive gear... and food!

I might be there.. tough call.. flying out of town the next day, so I probably won't dive if I do.
