chewie:
was there at pier uno last sun. it's a cute resort, but have several comments.

1. parking is a bi**h. - ang kitid ng daan. kawawa yung nauna dun at sa baba pumarada.

2. the rinsing/washing area of the gears masikip din. at that time, there was no fresh/running water in the sink/faucets.

3. bathrooms - ok if you are overnighting since the rooms have their own. but, for day trippers, there are common bathrooms, but no place to put your things.

oh well, that's just me & my group. since there're just new, there is room for improvement. :D

Yah, Chewie, was there with you too, just didn't do the Galera day trip. It was Pier Uno's soft opening, at full house and maybe half less staffed than Aquaventure. There been a lot of feedbacks and the owner said it'll be first on their priority list: parking, gear up area though malaki, daming abubot, more rooms (they can only accommodate 40 fax as of the moment. Maganda naman yung dock nila, you don't have to suffer the walk to and from the boat like in aqua. And I like their Lanai and dami nilang tambayan area. Good thing pa there is that the owner is hardcore diver kaya alam nya mga needs ng diver. May oxygen din sila, I noticed. Is that standard sa dive resorts o hindi lahat?

How's the road to Pier Uno? Paved? Unpaved but still pretty flat? Or anything but an SUV would be foolish?

It's a steep way down when you enter the GLOBAL HOLIDAY Resort entrance, but be careful driving down though, as the pavement are pretty narrow, but otherwise the road going there is fine.

aba DAPAT LANG may Oxygen. Do not dive in a resort without medical grade Oxygen.

And I like their Lanai and dami nilang tambayan area.

sana walang mga tambay na nag mooni moonie lang dun....

yup, i have no qualms about the resort per-se. it's a nice resort, sakto agad, shore-entry na. pwde rin mag chill-out until late, not to mention the karoke machine. hehehe:D
