Anyone dive with the Andy's drysuit? I just paid for one, which is being made for me as I type this. It is one with a front zipper so I can get in and out of it easier.

Any info would be appreciated.....

and I love it! Very well made, easy to put on and off etc. I have mine in extreme nylon, with pockets and I had Andy put a Dive Rite balanced P-valve on it...

I have one... it has a Halcyon balanced p valve, bellows pocket, and across the chest zipper (which I wont get again, I would rather have the back zip). I picked it up second hand, and it is in great shape. I originally bought it as a backup to my DUI CLX-450, however, I like it so much, that I think it might become my primary drysuit.

I have to say, the p-valve is a very nice option...

And, if you get a nylon suit, I would get kevlar knee pads to help protect the suit...

Good Choice, IMO...

... other than the sleeves and legs being 4" too short <snip>

THAT I would have loved to have a picture of.... :D

Uncle Pug,

I once posted a question regarding a safe second, Atomic to be exact. You wrote back and said, save you pennies and by a drysuit.

I took your advice and now have the suit being made for me. I don't know what each of you paid for your suits but I got my DS3 for $1192.00. http://www.andysdrysuit.com/ds3.htm

For this amount, I got the suit, an undergarmet, hood and warm socks.

Don't know if I got ripped off but I have to say that I bought at an after Thanksgiving sale at my local dealer. He gave me a 20% discount or almost $300.00 off at that time. Could not pass up the offer since he would make sure it fits right and will take me out and should how to dive in it.

Looking forward to keeping dry and warm instead of the wetsuit I was diving in.

Thanks again Uncle Pug. You rock!!!!
