In case anyone cares. I found a source for the Anderson Powerpole Connectors. I replaced the 'Trailer-trash' connectors on my canister light and have found true joy. They're easier to connect and disconnect without ripping the crap out of the wire when they finally let go.

These connectors have found a huge following in the Ham Radio community; you can build just about permutation or combination of connector with them.

I note that the Salvo lights are using them.

Note that the only difference between the 15, 30 and 45 amp connectors is the size wire the contacts are designed for. The plastic housing is common between all three current ratings and mechanically they'll all mate with each other.
