Congrats!! That's some chilly water.

So, what's the corn cob looking "thingy" the diver on the left is holding?????

Oh, it's a broken dog toy that he found at the bottom - one of those things you throw in the water and let your dog retrieve. It has a big hole in it, which is why I'm assuming that it sunk. :)

They have a word for people like you... LUNATICS. :D

"All the ice was gone", hell, my requirement for a dive site is that the ice was never there to begin with. I applaud your fortitude though.

I'm a little torn. Getting wet and breathing compressed air or freezing? Props to you guys.

Happy to hear there's more than local community center pools and the aquarium right now! Anyone know the status on Aurora Res for Diving? Or are they among those who open the season after Memorial Day for swimming & diving activities?

I believe it opens May 1st for diving. Dan and I dove it in early May last year. Water temp. was in the upper 40's and about 6-10 ft vis (if I remember right).

OK I thought you guys were crazy but after further research I have determined you are completely sane compared to some.

This is crazy.
