When the dive shops in town go out of business, Genesis and I will be there to purchase their compressors and then start selling air out of our garages.
Have you asked your insurance agent yet, what it's going to cost for liability insurance for air fills? Or will you take the chance that no one will ever blame you for bad air? Without insurance, even the lawyers fees and court costs could wipe you out financially.

Nothing at all. In fact, next time I need a knife maybe I'll come see you. If I decide to look at some other gear and hem and haw while you ring up the knife will you throw the other stuff (prolly about $1k worth) in the bag with it? :D (j/k)

That's a good idea. WTH, stop in and give it a try. Just like that sales cliche ABC, always be closing...it goes for the customeer too...i.e. ask for the sale

Actually that would be a cool thing to do at a sale or something, just pick someone that you've found to NOT have all their gear and hook them up. It would be horrible from the sales point of view, but how cool would that be from a personal point of view.

HAS IT OCCURED TO YOU THAT THE SHOP SIMPLY DOESN'T WANT YOU OR YOUR BUSINESS ANYWHERE NEAR THEM?

HEHE HEHE, LOL.... good one,

I'm surprised they don't flip the sign over to "closed" when they see him coming

Yeah. And lock the door, turn off the compressor and run out the back along with the paying customers.

Don't mention airlines............

They're all part of the vast conspiracy to defraud Krazy Konsumers, you know. Do you know that aircraft are sometimes late? Or that they break down.

Oh, the horror. What shall we do?

Hey, Karl, tell us about the last time you bought a car.:boom: Or toothpaste:boom: Or prescription drugs:boom: or chewing gum:boom:

Don't mention airlines............

Yea, no kidding, I just heard from a good friend who is a private pilot that UAL pilots make more than many CEOs.

Really, GOOD for them. Might that be because there are more skills required? Or because there are fewer pilots than CEO's

I love supply and demand. Don't you?

WELL. They'd damn well better give me a free toothbrush if I go to the trouble of going to their store to buy toothpaste from them.

Well, Rax, the LAST TIME I bought toothpaste at the CVS up the street, I asked to speak to the manager. I explained that they needed to provide VALUE for the toothpaste, 'cause I could always go to www.toothpaste.com and get everything they could sell me. I waved a wad of cash (which I have because I'm this REALLY, REALLY successful person) demanded free enemas in consideration of my vast toothpaste buying potential and waited for a response. The manager must just not want to sell stuff, because he laughed in my face.

I repeated the scene at Walgreens and the corner drug store.

I'm so mad I'm now making my own toothpaste out of baking soda and water. But I'll show them. I'll show them ALL.

BWHAAAAAHAAAAHAAAAA:bonk:

Do you guys all dive together? Live in the same area? Don't mind me, I'm just trying to get enough posts to become a member of the board.

And once this war in Iraq thing blows over there will be a dearth of new pilots looking to fill jobs at UAL, AA, Delta, for a lot less than the out going Viet Namers are making.
