You can do better than that. It's really old and worn out. No bite anymore.

You need to do something like this:

"You DIR guys and so rigid that you can't get out of trim"

No, I guess that wouldn't work either.:D

you've already proven in another post YOU have no clue as to what "trim" is.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Diving according to James Connell. Now there's something we should all aspire to. NOT.

I'll stick with the known and proven, thank you.

you've "proven" (multiple times now) that you have no idea what is "known" and proven.

you say "proper" trim is to be always horizontal - here's an example of just how wrong you are.

cave or wreck it doesn't matter -

you're swimming down a silty narrow passage that's only about 4' square but has a 60 deg down angle. if you stop (accourding to your definition of "trim") you will return to horizontal - putting your head into the ceiling and your feet have just silted everything out because they are now in the mud. if this same passage now takes a 90 deg turn up you have the same problem - your trim won't let you turn to your back and smoothly negoiate the turn without sticking your fins in the mud.
you are truly on the path to DIR enlightenment. NOT

Thank you for your enlightenment in the world of diving according to James Connell.

I'll pass, thank you. I'll take a certified GUE instructor's definition of trim. No offense, but she has credentials.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Yeah, it meets the TOS. But I gotta tell you, even as a DIR proselyte, I find the GUE cheerleading getting more than a little old. The GUE guys seem to think that every time they get a hard-on it's newsworthy and they have some god given right to announce their latest class, demo or graduate to every board on the Internet. As you said in another thread, DIR-F courses were uncommon at one time and needed the help of Internet forums to help fill them. That's not the case anymore, and I for one would like to see a dedicated section for class announcements and demos that would be open to all agencies.
