Drinking hot drinks between dives to try and generate body warmth would just make me pee during the dive. Wear the right insulation for the dive!
Its not a good idea to be less hydrated, if you are afraid of peeing. You should drink well enough, especially for repetitive dives.
The temperatur of the beverage makes no difference for me, well if it does for you - fair enough

Some ideas for consideration
- Hood is the cheapest solution (try them out, some of them will fit better than others)
- Open cell neoprene is much warmer against your skin (with lubrication for donning)
- Warm clothes after surfacing (a beanie at least), wind-protection if there is wind
- Warm drinks without caffeine on surface intervals (and peeing just before the dive)
- Enough energy (So eat enough before diving and some small easy to digest snacks in-between)

You may also to consider drinking a hot beverage in between the dives.

Do you have a particular area where yo freeze most?
For instance for the belly you could use a kidney belt, which motorcycle drivers use. For feet you can put neoprene socks additionally. And of course hood and gloves.

But to have multiple layers is a hazzle...
My wife and I love our dive socks!!!! Won't dive without them any longer.

We have found the purple Fabuloso works wonders on that urine stench. Clears it right up!

It doesn't ruin the wetsuit material?

It doesn't ruin the wetsuit material?
Nope! The dive operations at COCO View in Roatan use it. They also use something very similar. We have put not only our wetsuits in it, my wife has put her Shark Skin into it and they have not been any issues. The dive shop there uses it to clean their rental gear as well.

FYI, a squirt of liquid dial soap into the suit between dives seems to do a pretty good job of keeping the stink down during multi-day trips.
