Tuesday my buddy and I found a nice sized (approx 8ft) Octo just haging out in the open, sitting on a tire in approx 65fsw at cove 2. Very curious, it seemed it was as much into us as we were into it! Watched it for nearly 10 minutes, it touched us and was very gently. What an amazing animal!

Where in cove #2?
They are amazing animals.

Would that be the tire about 20 feet southeast of the I-beam rope? The one just below the jackstraw pilings? That place seems to attract crabs ... which makes it an octopus deli counter ... :D
