Hello ScubaBoard,

I'm looking at building a tank rack, but I don't have direct access to tanks at the moment (I know it makes the rack somewhat meaningless... Think Wayne's World gun rack). Could someone with an AL80 and/or a HP100 tell me what the height of their tanks are from the bottom to where they BEGIN to tapper off towards the valve (ie the length of the section of the tank with a uniform diameter)?

Thanks,
Scrub

The AL80 is 23 inches with no boot.

The HP100 (E-7) is 20.5 inches with the boot.

A Tank rack?
A tank rack!
Sheyah, right.
I don't even own A tank, let alone many tanks necesetating and entire rack.
What am I going to do with a tank rack?

If you're not careful Wayne, you're gonna lose me!

OK, I couldn't help it. I watched that movie about a hundred times.

While you did not ask, An AL63 is 18.5 inches with no boot. And it is a great tank for those shorter or shallower dives like Spring Lake or Balmorae.
