I'm just curious if anyone here has had the opportunity to meet Al Giddings and if so, what was he like? Also, does anybody here remember the forgotten five part mini-series Ocean Quest? It was a great docu-drama and one of the earliest examples of reality TV, a series that was way ahead of its time. I don't know why it hasn't been released on DVD, I would snatch it up in a heartbeat.

I worked for Al Giddings on the Abyss. He was great to work for even given the pressures of running an intense operation. He had a great personnality, was very friendly and liked by all.
