Didn't one of the airlines just START service to Bonaire? It's such a beautiful dive destination and depends A LOT on diving tourism for it's economy. Who else besides Continental and American Eagle service this island from the states?

Delta starts soon

Yeah on Delta, but only one flight per week (each way) on Saturday.

Which isn't too bad, but you better hope your bags make the connection because they don't have a flight to follow up on. I think you'll find Delta has marginally better service than Air Jamacia does some of the time.

EDIT: contiental started flying in there this year also. Red-eye from Houston

they are adding a 2nd flight for the day for the holidays.

Continental has one direct flight from New Jersey and one from Houston. We're booked through Houston, which is much better for us than NJ or going with Delta through Atlanta since we live on the West Coast.

Continental has added a second flight direct from Houston to Bonaire next year. Lose one, gain one.

I believe the second flight from Houston (IAH) to Bonaire (BON) is for a few weeks in Dec. and early Jan.
