I'm no authority on the matter, but I have heard some photogs have trouble where the strobes firing will cause a wireless AI to temporarily lose sync, happening often enough to be annoying, if not exactly problematic. Recently this problem has apparently shown up with the Galileo Luna, for example.
It definitely used to be a problem when the wireless technology was first introduced. My US Divers Monitor III lost the signal after almost every strobe flash (of course back then I shot film, so there were only 36 flashes per dive), rendering the feature all but useless (but still cool, I thought). The reliabilty steadily improved, and my Suunto D9 shows no sign of interference from near-constant strobe cycling.

I don't think any of the computers built in the last few years have this strobe issue. I certainly haven't seen it and I sure shoot a lot of photos.

I like air integration. It's just one more datapoint on your computer. You can use that data or not. I tend to watch all of mine to give me a good idea of "where I am" in the dive. I like to see my minutes left to NDL, minutes left on O2 clock, and dive time remaining from the air integration. Yes, I know it's just sampling my current gas use rate and extrapolating that into the future...

As long as you know what it's doing and why you'll be in a good place to use the data effectively.

There is no evidence to support the popular misconception that AI computers are less reliable. The dive-deck officer on the Aggressor summed it up quite nicely "Be good to your computer and it'll be good to you."
