There's been quite a bit of negativity floating around here lately so I figured I might as well post something positive. The shop I work for sends out anonymous reviews after every class we teach and here is one I received today that made me feel good

BTW I'm Chris S. and yes I am tooting my horn but everyone is allowed to do that every so often aren't they

On Chris S

Chris' passion for the sport is evident and manifested in his teaching. When first meeting Chris I was a little put off by his youth. No longer than 15 minutes into the class it became apparent my misgivings were completely wrong. His masterful handling off the class certainly bespoke an attitude and maturity beyond his years. Chris made the class fun for me and I marveled at his patience with us. Even when I did not come close to performing at a satisfactory level he was encouraging, upbeat and positive as he worked with me. It is apparent he is knowledgeable and passionate and even though I could go on and on for the sake of brevity I will stop and conclude with my thanks to Chris for a wonderful experience.

On Dan, Chris L and Dwight (Assistant Instructors:)

Again kudos. The Gentleman were a great help and I felt more comfortable with them being there considering the size of the class. They were encouraging and positive and they will make fine instructors. Special thanks to Dan K for his special attention to an overweight, out of shape, slightly older student (namely me.) His "hand holding" and extra instruction along with helpful hints were especially appreciated.

On the store:

You gentlemen run a fine business. All of you Norb, Kevin, Ray and Chris exemplify customer service at the Nth level. All of you were concered in making sure

1) I felt comfortable
2)I knew the options
3)I understood the features
4)I knew how to use the equipment

All the hours you have spent with me in instilling a passion for the sport, informing me of the options, assisting in buying my equipment and organizing my dive trip has been appreciated. I have "voted"by buying my equipment there and refering as many people as I can to your establishment. Special thanks to Norb, for your able assistance particularly with my equipment. Your honesty concerning selection and always finding the time to talk

A good dive shop and instructors are worth their weight in gold, and certainly seem to be few and far between. Keep up the good work!

Chris... i dont blame you for tooting your on horn. that is something to be very proud about. congrats sir on doing a great job.

Hey it may be a dump but it's OUR dump. Besides Joe's place has its own kind of charm. I mean where else can you go diving AND watch good ol' boys race Harleys? I'm always ready and willing to go diving hell I leave for Florida in less than 6 hours

Do the letters F & O mean anything to you :D?

Thanks for such a positive post, good job!

Hey Chris, if I bring my AOW class to Joes will you keep the shop open for us so we can get fills?

Hope to see you this summer!
