Has anyone developed thier own AGA minitest?
Apparently it consists of some graduated containers for water with a nebulizer bulb & tubes. It looks as though rather than using a magnehlic they use water & bubbles to ensure valve limits.

Would that be similar to the Interspiro mini test kit seen in the Aqualung 2001 Spare Parts Catalog?

I think so, and from what I understand its EXPENSIVE for what you get.

This sounds like a fit testing kit that you can get from safety supply houses. The AGA mask is also used for fire fighters, and they are required to use a fit test kit. There are many suppliers of them, and they use one of several chemicals that can be tasted or smelled at low levels to test the fit of the FFM. Usually, the kit also includes a covering into which the nebulized aerosol is sprayed. There are standard protocols for this too.

There's only one part that I can't say you could duplicate easily on the mini test kit. The other issue would be liability. You'll need to show proper training and testing if you're ever sued by someone getting hurt or worse if they were to be diving a mask on which you worked. The kit is basically a rudimentary magnehelic.

The kit is very over priced for what you get, IMHO.
