I didn't find it uncomfortable in the least bit. In fact I think I prefer the way it is right now. The sound was plentiful and very easy to understand. Having the earpiece on one side also allows you to hear other ambiant nioses without much muffling. The setup is a winner as it is, but if you are in any way unsatidfied with it, I'm sure you could get it with two earphones.

Thanks for the quick response. It's just something I have always wondered about the buddy phone. I've checked out availability, and there is a shop near me that has offered to let me try it out this summer, so I'll definitely take it for a spin.
